Current-voltage characteristics of a sandwich-type device based on poly(p-phenylene) and poly(1,4-dipyrrolobenzene) films are investigated. The characteristics depend on the type of polymer and on the sample conductivity. Poly(p-phenylene) with a conductivity 10-3 - 10-5 S/cm yields Schottky-type junctions with In and Pb.
